What you’ll do
Your captain will meet you at H&M Landing on Shelter Island & walk you to the yacht “Sabai.” After brief safety instructions, we’ll set the sails. Sailboat adventure starts from America’s Cup Harbor and cruises on San Diego Bay along Downtown while you enjoy the city’s magnificent skyline.
 Feel free to bring your favorite food & beverages (**no red wines, please).

 As we approach the Maritime Museum, your skipper will share interesting facts about some of the museum’s ships: old wooden ships, steam powerboats, & even submarines. The “Star of India” & and the “Berkeley” are California & National Historic Landmarks. Then, we will sail near the massive “USS Midway” in San Diego Bay, and the retired aircraft carrier is now a live symbol of freedom.Â
 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in the San Diego skyline and a great ocean view! Or who wants to relax and get away for a while!

We are located on the 1st dock at H&M Landing, right infront of Point Loma Seafoods Restaurant. Walk down the ramp to Eco Boat Rentals check in area.Â

Where do I park?
Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your sailing charter to ensure you have enough time to find parking. Parking can be tight because we located in busy touristic location, so please plan accordingly.

Are children allowed?
Kids love our sailboat. It’s a safe experience for all ages. Â Every child under 13 years of age must wear a life jacket (provided).
Are pets allowed?
We found out that sea dogs enjoy our cute pedal boats more than sailboats) No pets allowed on sailing charters, sorry.
Do you provide any drinks/snacks?
Yes, complimentary soft drinks, soda and light snacks provided.Â
Can I bring food/snacks on board?
You may bring finger foods such as small sandwiches, cheese, crackers, and drinks. **No red wine, please.
If you would like to bring a cake for your Birthday, we recommend choosing cupcakes.
Is There A Bathroom Aboard?
There is a bathroom on board (head as it’s known on a boat).
What is the dress code for the sailing experiences? Do you have blankets on board?
Casual and comfortable. We recommended bringing sunscreen, a light jacket in the summer, and a windbreaker or sweater in winter—soft and non-black soles shoes.
Yes, we do have blankets on board for our guests.
Is there music on board?
Yes, our sailboat is equipped with a stereo system. You are welcome to play your favorite songs.
What about seasickness?
The chances that you will get seasick are slim to none! We stay within the calm waters of San Diego Bay. Come prepared, If you know you get sea sick easily (for example, you have a tough time sitting in the back seat of a car), then bring something to coat your stomach or sea sickness medication.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund for Private Sailing Tour, customers may cancel up to 48 hours before the charter start time in the local timezone. No refunds will be given after that time period. The sole exception is if we close due to the weather, in which case a full refund will be made.
Customers may reschedule their reservation one time up to 24 hours before the Private Sailing Tour start time in the local timezone without an extra fee based on availability. Note: the “full refund” option does not transfer with short reschedule notice requests.
