Get lost in the splendor of floral bands of color overlooking the Pacific Ocean at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad! Mother’s Day is the last day of the season, which is a perfect ending to this amazing local experience. Virtual Venissimo Cheese & Beer Pairing

Hosted by Thorn Brewing and Venissimo Cheese, this virtual tasting event is great for a stay-at-home Mother’s Day celebration! The tasting includes four beers, four cheeses, and a live event with expert cheesemonger Robby G and Thorn Brewing’s general manager to share fun facts about these pairings. Eco Boat Rentals

Our neighbors, Eppig Brewing, is hosting a Mother’s Day Succulent Wreath Workshop with Stemtations San Diego on Saturday, May 8th. Explore the new exhibitions in the Museum of Us (formerly known as Museum of Man), our anthropology museum, as they reopen on Wednesday, April 21st. Exhibit topics include cannibalism, beer, race, and living with animals.
