The main difference between these programs lies in the pricing structure and reservation process. With our “6 Pack Charters,” the captain fee and insurance are already included in the price, providing you with a hassle-free experience. You can simply book your cruise and embark on a memorable adventure with up to six passengers.
On the other hand, the “Bareboat” Coast Guard program allows up to eight passengers on board. However, this program requires customers to purchase separate “Charter Insurance” at approximately $25 and pay the captain directly ( $100 cash or Venmo) before the tour. While the reservation process for Bareboat charters may take a bit longer due to additional requirements, we ensure that everything is done legally and in compliance with Coast Guard regulations.

Pink Boat cruises depart from the 1st dock at H&M Landing, right infront of Point Loma Seafoods Restaurant. Walk down the ramp to Eco Boat Rentals check in area.

Where do I park?
Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your cruise to ensure you have enough time to find parking. Parking can be tight because we located in busy touristic location, so please plan accordingly.
What time should I show up for my reservation?
Our crew will be ready to check you in 10-15 minutes before your reservation start time. Please, arrive 20-25 minutes to park safely and walk to our location. We recommend to use Uber/Lyft on weekends and holidays.
How long is the Pink boat cruise in San Diego Bay?
Our Pink Duffy electric Boat charters are 2 hours long.
Where will we be cruising?
Pink Boat departs from America’s Cup Harbor & cruise in San Diego Bay along Downtown while enjoying the city’s magnificent skyline. You will be able to see Maritime and Midway museums super close from the water!

Will I get cold on Pink Boat?
Pink Boat has complete window enclosures that can go up or down depending on guests’ comfort. We can keep all the windows down on chilly days or in the evening, and the boat stays insulated and warm.

Are children allowed?
Kids love our Pink electric Boat tours in San Diego Bay. The Pink Duffy boat is fully enclosed, which makes it a safe and comfortable experience for all ages.
Are pets allowed?
We love furry friends! Currently, only our day and night pedal boats rentals are dog friendly 🐶 Maybe we will change it in the future.
Can I bring food/snacks on Pink Boat cruise?
Yes, you can bring bring drinks and food at no additional charge (no RED wine, please). Finger foods like small sandwiches, cheese, crackers, and fruits are good choices. You are welcome to bring a cake or cupcakes for a Birthday celebration on the boat in San Diego Bay.
We recommend bringing your own plates, utensils, and napkins. But if you forget it – we will get you covered
Can I bring decorations on Pink Boat cruise?
You are welcome to bring decorations (no feathers, no glitter, no balloons attached outside of the boat). Plan to come 15-20 minutes earlier to put them up.

What is the dress code for the Pink Boat experiences?
Pink and sparkly outfits looks the best. We recommend to have an extra jacket with you at the winter time.
Is there music on board?
Yes, our Pink Boats are equipped with a Bluetooth stereo system. You are welcome to play your favorite songs.
What about seasickness?
Come prepared, If you know you get sea sick easily (for example, you have a tough time sitting in the back seat of a car), then take sea sickness medication 30 minutes before departure time.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund, customers may cancel up to 48 hours before the Pink Boat charter starts time. No refunds will be given after that time period. The sole exception is if we close due to unsafe weather, in which case a full refund will be made. Customers may reschedule their reservation one time up to 24 hours before the Pink Boat charter starts time without an extra fee based on availability. Note: the “full refund” option does not transfer with short reschedule notice requests.
